Recently, I was trying to subscribe to an auto-responder service.

Didn’t know which to choose between a few big names in the industry.

Made a post in Warrior Forum, and I so many helpful warriors helping me out and eventually, a guy named Adam Bshero and Damian Leon gave clear instructions to me. Ended up, I chose Aweber as my auto-responder and list building service. :)

27 Oct 2007 Sorry For Not Being Able To Update
 |  Category: Laptop/Notebook, Updates  | Leave a Comment

I am here to say sorry, for not being able to update all of you, as often as possible.

I have prepared several drafted content to be posted into the month of October’s update in this blog, but I failed to do so, because of my overwhelming work to be done.

I feel bad because I wasn’t really able to update this blog as often as I have planned.

This was due to several reasons :-

1) I have been drafting for a new system in a website of my partner and I on the very first and second week of this month, the month of October.

I have been dealing with the bookings that we have got from the website which I have mentioned above, when the system went live on around the 17th-20th of October.

Up to this very moment, where I am typing this post, I have been consistently trying to amend the new system for our website and tried to search for any possible errors in the system, and apply new solutions to those problems which we have successfully identified.

2) My birthday was on the 16th of October.

I have bought a new laptop for myself, which was contributed by my parents (I am really thankful to them, as that was the best present I have ever got from them, plus it was very useful for my work/career too!) .

The laptop I bought, a (HP) Hewlett-Packard Compaq Presario, model number : V3614AU, was pre-installed only with the FreeDOS Operating System (FreeDos OS), which of course, I was not comfortable with it.

Most of my laptop hardwares’ drivers were meant to be installed smoothly with Windows Vista, but not with Windows XP.

Since I have get used to the XP interface and its functions, and I did not have the time to deal with the Windows Vista’s new features, I had decided to install a fresh copy of Windows XP into the laptop.

It took me about 4 to 5 days to search for all of the drivers for Windows XP. It was not officially listed in their official website, and I did a lot of “Google Search” to find out all of those precious drivers for Windows XP (I will dedicate a special tutorial on this topic in the near future) .

It was also not easy to install initially (I have been formatted the computer for about 10 times just to test out all of the drivers that I have found/downloaded, to check if all of them are really compatible with the Windows XP).

I am going to West Malaysia soon, and I will be staying at there for about 1 month, to discuss some internet-related stuff with one of my very good friend.

3) I am going over to KL (Kuala Lumpur) on the 30th of October, and I will be coming back to my hometown, Kota Kinabalu, on the 5th of December 2007.

The functionality of my laptop is very important to me, since I am dealing most of my work over the internet, that is why I spent a lot of time to make sure the laptop is in a ready-to-use mode.

At this moment, I need to concentrate a lot in our existing website.

A lot of things needed to be tested and revised, since we have already maintain a constant online customer base.

I planned to complete the revision of our website before going to KL, but it seems to be impossible, but I will try my best to deal with that and I will try to finish it off (or at least minimize the problems) as soon as possible, so that I can again, concentrate more on my own website’s future projects/development.

Thats all for today, I will definitely update you when I am free to do so.

17 Sep 2007 Guideline For Newbie To Choose A Better Web Hosting Service-Part 2
 |  Category: Updates, Web Hosting  | One Comment

In the first part of this guide, I have shared about my personal experience and my personal learning curve, when I were to choose a web hosting service provider to host my website.

IX Web Hosting was initially my first option, simply and solely because of the cheap price that they were offering, together with the free advertising ads of Google, Yahoo and MSN that were being bundled into their packages.
*Note : I went to IX Web Hosting to check again for the free-ads offer, few weeks ago. To my surprise, they have taken off the Microsoft adCenter free ads offer.

I had explained on why I have changed my mind, and chose to be hosted with DowntownHost.com, in my previous post.

If you have not yet read about it, and would like to do so, please checkout my previous post, titled as ‘Guideline For Newbie To Choose A Better Web Hosting Service-Part 1’.

As you are now reading this post, for whatever reason it is, I am pretty sure that it has to be a web-hosting-related stuff.

I am going to assume that you are a pure newbie (or perhaps if you know only little bit about web hosting like I am), having zero knowledge (or a little bit of knowledge like I was before this) on how to use a web hosting service, you have no idea on what is the possible problems that will occur in the web hosting industry, you wonder what kind of hosting service suit you the most, and so many other questions that you might be wondering.

First and foremost, I need to remind you that, I am just like you, maybe less savvy than you, and I am a non-technical person, when it comes to the internet stuff.

But what I am able to do is, I have collected some of the most basic information that you might need, before you start to shop for any web hosting services.

You can use the service to host your website for almost all of the subjects that you can think of, and it can be hosted on different kind of web hosting providers.

It can be used for the purpose of gaming server, portal website, video sharing, file sharing, photo sharing, text-based information, e-commerce, internet marketing, weblog (blogging website), forum (bbs), business, personal, social…

The list can go on, but what I am trying to illustrate in here, is actually the limitation on the hosting services’ plans on some of the examples which were being listed on the list above.

Of course, I am not going to explain all of them in here (obviously, I don’t have enough knowledge to comment on some of them).

There are 2 most basic platforms which are being used in most of the hosting plan, the Linux hosting plan, and the Windows hosting plan.

When you are trying to use any technology such as the ASP.NET on your website, you would then be required to use the Windows hosting plan, as the particular technology would not be able to work in the Linux hosting plan.

There are several basic plans, which are the most basic and most commonly advertised plans.

For example, the shared hosting plan, semi-dedicated hosting plan, dedicated hosting plan, etcetera.

Next, what you would have to consider about, is the nature of your website.

I will be using 5 web hosting companies as the example on 4 different kinds of nature of the websites that you are probably going to develop, and to be hosted with any of those web hosting companies on the internet.

Each of these web hosting companies has its own advantages and disadvantages, but you can still take them as references, and choose a better web hosting service provider for yourself.

Featured web hosting company :-

  1. Rackspace
  2. DowntownHost
  3. Exabytes
  4. SBI!
  5. IX Web Hosting

* Note : I am not going to give very detailed information on this post about the 5 web hosting companies which were being recommended above, or else this post will be a very long post. I will perhaps make a disambiguation on each one of them (or maybe not), when I have the time to do so.

Scenario 1 : Dedicated servers - For example , running a very busy forum OR Game Server.
Rackspace
If you are planning to be a web hosting provider, or if you are planning to run a very busy forum/game server, you would most probably need a dedicated server. Rackspace is a web hosting company which is good in this kind of service, and they are famous for their quality support which was being provided to their customers. Visit the website of Rackspace, or visit their customer review area. You can also search for comments or reviews about Rackspace, in the Web Hosting Talk forum.

Scenario 2 : Shared hosting plan - For example , running a normal/personal website, which is not using a high level of processing power (CPU & RAM).
DowntownHost & Exabytes
If you are going run a normal website or a blog site or a small business site which only requires a small or minimum usage of processing power (CPU & RAM), you can actually go for the shared hosting plan. If you are a Malaysian resident, you can opt for Exabytes, a popular Malaysian web hosting company. If there is emergency, at least it won’t cost you as high as calling to an overseas number. Or else, you can choose to be hosted with DowntownHost, a U.S. based web hosting company. I have explained that I need to search for a web hosting company which has a very good support team, and I did try out with Exabytes & DowntownHost’s support team. Personally, I do like DowntownHost’s support service over the other one. Not to say that the support system of Exabytes is not efficient, but I really do prefer to be backed by DowntownHost. I have not yet experienced a slow reply on any of my requests / inquiries. Fastest = Within 2 minutes, slowest = not more than 1 hour. I have been trying that on the daytime, and on the nighttime, at my local time.

Scenario 3 : All-In-One special hosting package - For example , running an e-commerce website, a website optimized for monetization, or any kind of website, where monetization will be the main issue to be considered.
Site Build It! (SBI!)
If you are serious about having your own online business (if you are a complete newbie, OR if you don’t know the concept of online business, OR if you don’t know how exactly you can generate money from the internet), this is probably the most suitable place you should be visiting, among those other web hosting companies that I have recommended above. Site Build It! (SBI!) is being known as All-In-One hosting package, because of the services that SBI! is offering. It is offering most of those services which are needed to be running an online business (successfully), and the price is ten fold lower or more, comparing to the services which has the same quality, same features given. As their company’s favorite quote is ‘Content Is King’, you should have understood by now, that they are mostly urging people to optimize their website with more quality and unique content, to maximize the monetization opportunity. I would most probably be giving out a more detailed disambiguation on this category (SBI!), in my future blog post. I will definitely let them host most of my future website, in the coming days. I will explain why, in my future blog post.

Scenario 4 : Super-cheap hosting package - For example , running the same website as described in scenario 2, and wouldn’t expect a very good support system from most of those super-cheap web hosting companies.
IX Web Hosting
If you are trying to search for a super-cheap web hosting service, and you are not going to worry about whether or not they are having a good supporting team, then IX Web Hosting would probably be one of those super-cheap web hosting companies you could pay a visit to.

Another important thing that everyone should take into consideration, is to backup your own data from your web hosting account (this is of course, after you had bought your web hosting service), in a timely manner.

Although web hosting company does mention that it will do a backup for you, either by a nightly, weekly or some other choices, it is everyone’s responsible to back up their own data, in case anything happens.

If you do not know how to backup your data, ask your web hosting service provider (after you had bought it), they should assist you on that.

If they are slacking off or refuse to help you on that, you will then get to know what I meant by a ‘not-so-good support team’.

During the process of searching for an alternative web hosting provider, I have learnt a lot from some other webmasters.

For example, some of those information were about :-

  • How to choose a web hosting service provider by category.
  • How to identify a hosting provider with greater customer support.
  • How to identify a cheap hosting service provider with a better support system within the same class/category, i.e. within the cheap hosting class or within the supercheap class, etc.

There are a lot of websites out there in the internet world, where some of them are giving so much of good information, whereas some of them are trying to be a “web hosting reviewer”, and taking some advantage on that, to promote their own affiliate web hosting sites.

I know that there is no way that I can collect all of the information related to web hosting services on the earth, and provide all of them to you in this post.

However, what I can do is, at least to try to share the most basic knowledge that one should get to know, before choosing to be hosted with any of the web hosting service provider from the super-saturated web hosting industry.

Avoid the cheap-cheaper-cheapest kind of mindset, choose the one which suits your needs, not to be influenced by or to be seduced by the cheap price + various kind of ‘ridiculous’ offers which was being promoted by any of those web hosting service provider out there.

Example of the ‘ridiculous’ offers (more commonly known as overselling hosting), please visit the article about the overselling hosting, which was being composed by Daniel Lemnaru, the webmaster of Web Hosting Reviews.

Some of those websites that I think any average newbie (who is at the first time to choose a suitable web hosting service) should visit :-

1) Web Hosting Reviews – A web hosting guide that considers reviews the basis in all hosting related decisions. Provides a list of what it calls Honest Hosts.

  • Note : Having a lot of information which is in a text-based-information basis on the website. If you are trying to understand what on earth those ‘web hosting insider information’ are about, this is where you are going to get most of the information needed. Checkout the ‘Articles’ area, on the left hand side of the website.

2) Ultracheaphosts.com – A web hosting guide that share the same author/host with Web Hosting Reviews, Daniel Lemnaru.

  • Note : If you were to choose a supercheap web hosting like I did before this, this is a MUST READ website. Daniel Lemnaru, the author had contributed a lot of information for a web hosting dummy like me. You will be shocked to know the truth about how the ‘Ultracheap hosts’ work. In another words, why are they so cheap?

3) HostReview.com – Having a lot of information on web hosting service providers. It is more to a commercialized web-hosting-review website.

4) WebHostingJury.com – Having a huge database of web hosting service providers. It is more to a typical web-hosting-review website, where people can vote for various categories of the service which was being provided by their hosting provider. Visitors can input comments and there are quite many posts of comments in their website, where you can take them as your own reference.

5) WebHosting.info – Having a huge database of web hosting service providers and registrars, providing graphical & chart review along with the market shares of each hosting company, which make it slightly different from other web-hosting-review website. It is a place which is not bad to check for the popularity of a web hosting service provider, either by country-based, or by worldwide-based.

6) WebHostingTalk.com – Last but not least, this is a web-hosting-about forum that you can visit, to check about the possible problem that a web hosting company is having, or to check on how did customers respond to a particular web hosting company’s service.

  • Note : Please be warned that there are always pros and cons in anything. Things like owner/staff of a web hosting company might be giving a good review (could be a fake one) on their own company, opponent/competitor of a web hosting company might purposely try to create chaos or problem onto its rival’s company. To understand more about the correct way to search or to ask questions in an open forum or a public forum, please check out this article, which is about the hosts search strategy.
16 Sep 2007 Guideline For Newbie To Choose A Better Web Hosting Service-Part 1
 |  Category: Updates, Web Hosting  | One Comment

As I have mentioned in my very first blog post, I had done my studies about Adwords, and I was trying to use it, learning it from scratch.

Frankly speaking, up until today, I have not yet got the time to start my very first Adwords campaign.

But never mind about that, because I am going to update as many blog post as possible, before I start to venture into another category (such as the Adwords stuff) in the internet world.

Also mentioned in my first blog post, I was initially being attracted to IX Web Hosting’s budgeted hosting plan, which furthermore well furnished their sales effort with free advertising credits from Google & Yahoo, upon signing up with one of their hosting packages.

However, I am now a happy customer of DowntownHost.com

You might be feeling surprise, on why I have changed my mind and not to use IX Web Hosting.

Despite of those big web space, huge data transfer rate, multiple domains in a hosting package, free domain with hosting package, I wasn’t feeling comfortable with the live support department of IX Web Hosting.

It seems like they were outsourcing their support system to other company(ies), and probably in some other countries too. Why am I saying like this ?

During my chat sessions with several of their live support representatives, they seems to be located in another country, not in the United States (Well, I happened to ask for their locations).

A person like me, who is not really good or knowledgeable in the web hosting industry, would of course need a lot of support (fast and precise is always a better choice), in case there is any emergency case occurs.

It is much more critical, if you are residing in a country that has a huge time difference with the web hosting service provider’s company.

I am living in a country, which its time zone is UTC +8, whereas the time zone for DowntownHost.com is UTC -6, that is to say, we are actually being separated quite far from each other.

This is where, a very good supportive system (preferably a 24 X 7 support system) should be put into first priority consideration, when I am choosing for a good web hosting service.

The other reason that I have made to avoid using IX Web Hosting at that moment, was actually the way they were promoting their services.

For example, the given price for a hosting plan is $6 per month.

When I have finally made my decision to purchase the package, it turned out that I can only purchase at the rate of $6 per month, if I were to subscribe to the 2-years-billing-cycle .

Or else, I would have to pay $7 per month for the 1-year-billing-cycle.

Honestly, I was quite disappointed with that, at that particular moment.

First and foremost, I do not have the spare money in my debit card to subscribe for the service at a higher rate than which it was being promoted, at that moment (I was so thankful that I wasn’t able to subscribe to it), followed by the way they were promoting the services.

Yes, it did tell me eventually, that I have to pay a higher rate than the rate which was being promoted, unless I was going to subscribe for the 2-years-billing-cycle.

But I feel like I have been fooled around, and the time wasted on viewing the hosting package back and forth, for about several days (It was a good experience though, at least I’ve learnt my lesson).

In a nutshell, I am not happy with their oblique marketing method.

I have then done some research on the topic of ‘web hosting services’ through the internet, for another 3 days.

I came across to several web hosting companies, some of them were having the marketing method which is similar to the IX Web Hosting, but at least they did noted in the promotional area, that the cheapest rate will only be available if you are going to subscribe for a longer period of billing cycle.

Personally, I am OK with those kind of method, because they have at least noted down at their promotional page (not at the subscription confirmation page where you have finally made your decision that you want to subscribe for the service), which at least they are not wasting your time.

Several days of information-gulping has changed my point of view about choosing a supercheap/ultracheap company as my hosting service provider.

Eventually, I had chose to be hosted at DowntownHost.com.

Their support is so great (I hope that will remain as their core of their business). They are not only giving me response, but they are giving me the solution at the same time, whenever I have any question or request with them.

I understand that things can be happened anywhere, I mean undesirable things, things that we don’t really hope to be happened.

When there’s nothing happen, you can’t actually determine whether the company is having such a great support.

When things happen, such as any disaster or problem that might hit the company, that is the time, where you can actually observe how the company treat/handle various kind of things/problems.

In my humble opinion, I think that any person who is like me, which is not a web hosting savvy person that knows how to use the web hosting services (not to mention about the configuration of the web hosting stuff), any support from the hosting provider, is still the most important thing that the person should be seeking for.

If anyone thinks that they are good enough to know most of the things about how a web hosting process works, what kind of problem might occurs, and what kind of thing they should be aware of, so as to avoid any unhappy things to happen between themselves and the hosting provider, they might as well try to go for the web hosting company which is offering a cheaper service fee, and which their support might not be that great.

Example of ‘undesirable situation’ that might be happened, you can refer to this article, which is about the worst experience that a webmaster has had with a web hosting company.

In another case, take a look at the video below, which is about an ‘undesirable’ phenomenon that had happened to one of the HUGE hosting + registrar company.

End of Part 1, Please be back to check for Part 2

02 Sep 2007 Dreamweaver CS3 Tutorial & 45 Days of Procrastination
 |  Category: Updates  | Leave a Comment

As promised, I am going to update the blog, about my procrastination on updating the blog, after my 1st post on 16th of July.

After the first update, I was wondering on how I should update my home page.

To be exact, I need to design my homepage, but I don’t really know how.

In my humble opinion, I do think that Dreamweaver is one of the best tools out there, to be used for design purpose.

But then, the problem is, HOW and WHERE should I start from?

Without thinking twice, I have downloaded a trial version of Dreamweaver CS3, but I never know how to operate those complicated buttons all over the program.

As a result, I had done some extensive search on the internet, to search for some useful tutorials about Dreamweaver CS3.

I struck on the word ‘Youtube’, halfway during my search for the tutorial on the search engine.

Filled with excitement, I went through some of those Dreamweaver tutorials in Youtube, and found out that they were somewhat useful to me.

However, I didn’t really feel like those tutorials were enough to allow me to start designing my homepage in a more simplified way.

I came across to a few more useful tutorial site such as Totaltraining.com & Lynda.com.

Coincidently, one of my relative had also introduced me to the famous tutorial site – Lynda.com.

Not only that, he has even bought the tutorial DVD, titled as ‘Dreamweaver CS 3 Essential Training’, and he was so generous to lend me the DVD !

It was a ‘10.5 hour training’ tutorial DVD, and it took me about 2 weeks to digest all the movie clips.

This was due to my lack of knowledge on the internet world, there were so many terms that I didn’t understand, and it eventually took me about 2 weeks to finish off the whole tutorial DVD.

That was the first reason to delay me update for more than 1 month.

After the 2 weeks of intensive study on the tutorial DVD, I met with some personal problems + backed up and rearranged my old files (about 300GB) + had some problem on my own PC and eventually formatted the whole PC.

After 45 days, my blog is ready to go LIVE again, as shown in my 2nd update.

I guess that pretty well sum up my whole ‘procrastination’ situation, huh ?

Stay with me, and I will write an update about what had happened in between 11th of July and 16th of July, as 11th of July was my last note written, on my first blog post (dated on 16th of July).

It could be a useful guide to you, somewhere in my next update, keep an eye on my blog.

31 Aug 2007 My Blog Is Live ! Now What ?
 |  Category: Updates  | Leave a Comment

Alright, I know that I have never done any introduction either on this blog, or on myself.

Hi there, I am Aiden Chong. I feel more comfortable to be greeted as Aiden.

* “WHAT? AIDEN? The famous band named “Aiden” from the U.S. ?”

Yeah, yeah. Don’t yell, I can hear you.

But I’m sorry, my friend - To your disappointment, I am not.

I was born 19 years before the band was being formed (in year 2003) !

Obviously, Aiden is my christian name, and Chong is my surname/family name/last name.

* “Why Chong ?” You may ask.

I am a Chinese (Chong is one of the surnames for the Chinese), reside in one of the 13 states in Malaysia, i.e Sabah.

* “Where is that, and what is the most happening stuff over there ?”

Hey, my friend, this is the last question that I am going to answer for today, ok ? I have heaps of things to be updated in my blog, and I promise you that I will be back, to answer the rest of your questions.

This is the map of Sabah, and if you want to know what is the best thing to be done in the city where I am staying (Kota Kinabalu City), please visit another site of ours, which is currently being managed by my partner, a tourism-related site.

Ok now, as I said, no more questions for today.

* “Last question please, Aiden !”

Hmm….

* “Oh c’mon, Aiden, the handsome !”

Handsome? Have you ever seen me before ? Sounds sarcastic ! Anyway, go on with your LAST question.

* “Thanks, but why is this latest update having such an interval with your previous update ?”

Good question, I will leave that for the coming updates. *Smiling Wickedly*

* “Bad Aiden !”

Now you know !

By the way, for all the Malaysians who are viewing this blog at this moment, I wish all of you Happy 31st of August.

It is our 50th National day/Independence day. Peace to all of you !!

In my next update, I will let you know much more about my story.

Most of them will be emphasized on my thoughts, before having my website and blog being set up, how did I come to the internet business, what had led me to do such a decision, on venturing most of my time into the internet business, etc.

In a nutshell, I am new to the internet business world !

So, please bear with me, and I need support from all of you — physically, mentally, and hopefully, monetarily !

*LOL* I’m just kidding.

Anyway, stay with me, for more updates on my personal journey towards a better life in the wonderful + adventurous internet world.

For those who are also a beginner in the internet business world, you could probably learn something from my personal learning curves.

After all, they are all free, right ?

And I will make sure that it really does worth taking a peek on those information.

16 Jul 2007 Story Review Before My Blog Was Born
 |  Category: Updates  | 3 Comments

08 July 2007 – After I have studied enough about Adwords, I had to start to apply for my own Adwords account, and start to play around with it.

I had decided to try out with general stuff’s affiliate marketing, such as a clothing store, a tool store, a toy store, a candy store, a gardening store, a costume store, etc.

It could be hard, but this is just what I wanted to try out, or I will never know how it works, despite of all the case studies that I have been intensely studying for a few months’ time.

09 July 2007 – I’m still in a dilemma, I don’t feel like I have enough information to start on general stuff’s affiliate marketing.

I went to take a look at Holly Cotter’s course - ‘Passive Profit Streams’, which she is teaching people on how to earn a living on general stuff’s affiliate marketing.

It is so expensive, I bet that it is really jam pack with so many useful stuffs in her course (what I meant was, it really does worth that kind of price).

I have then decided to shift my attention into other things, since I do not have that amount of budget to pick up the useful course.

Not having a clear sight yet, on which kind of business I should venture into.

I guess the best possible thing for me to do is, register an account with Google Adwords, and start to test on driving traffic to some affiliate programs that I had already sign up for.

I hope that works. Well, I will get back to give an input about my progress soon.

10 July 2007 – Registered my Adwords account, but I have not yet paid for the $5 one-time activation fee.

I was considering to sign up for a web hosting service and register a domain name too.

But later on, I found out that there is a thing called the “promotional code” in my Adwords account.

I did some search on Google, and found out various kind of source about it.

But most of the time, if you are signing up with some major web hosting services, they are indeed promoting their web hosting services, including with some FREE Google Adwords advertising credits, FREE Yahoo! Search Marketing advertising credits or FREE Microsoft AdCenter advertising credits.

Well, it is not necessary for them to promote all of the 3 FREE credits, they might be giving either 1 of them, or either 2 of them, or they can even give out all of the 3 free credits together in a bundled package.

Furthermore, the credits that they are giving out, might not be equalized, some will be giving out $25 of free advertising credits for each, some might be giving out $50 free advertising credits for each, it is solely depending on the web hosting companies themselves.

In my own opinion, I always tend to search for a web hosting company, which has 24/7 support system.

Just in case anything happens, I can contact them straight away.

Imagine if there is a crush in my file or whatever situation, and I would like to talk to any representative, I would be able to do so.

It will be much more crucial, if a person who is acquiring the web hosting service has a huge time differences with the hosting company’s actual time zone.

I am staying in Malaysia, and if I were to search for a web hosting company which is based in the U.S , I would surely make sure that they have the 24/7 support system.

There will be 1 more additional bonus compliment given by me, if the web hosting company is using LivePerson’s Livechat service and other services offered by LivePerson.

LivePerson’s Livechat service are just excellent to be used by a visitor like me, who has a lot of questions to ask about, regarding a particular product.

I have had some very positive experience with LivePerson’s products.

On the other hand, I have been closely observing on IX Web Hosting, which is one of the top budgeted web hosting companies in the U.S, and it is offering some irresistible service via their hosting plan.

There is one part, which it particularly caught my attention.

Before this date, that hosting company was offering FREE ads credit only to Yahoo! Search Marketing and Microsoft AdCenter.

When I visit their website again to check for some information, I WAS SHOCKED to see that they are now offering FREE ads credit to Google Adwords as well.

Needless to say, I was again, being seduced by its services offered.

And I have planned to acquire a plan with them, as soon as possible.

Alright then, I will get you updated soon, and I will post some screen shoot for those free ads credit once I have received them.

11 July 2007 – Man, it is kind of hard for me to really make my decision on creating my very own website.

Yes, I am currently having another tourism website, with my partner, Ruhaizad Daud.

But that website was solely design and manage by my partner.

I have never touch on anything about “hosting a website” , “dealing with website’s design” , “pulling in visitors into a website” , etc.

In a nutshell, I am half a newbie in the world of online marketing / making money online / internet business / internet marketing (or whatever you like to call it) .

It is kind of hard, especially when there is no one to guide you about anything, especially in the beginning, where you are struggling to start your very own internet business/website.

The largest drawback for me at this moment, is actually my personal FEAR.

My fear for the online marketing journey (there is no one to guide me), my fear for no fruitful result on what I am going to do (online business), my fear for the workload (loads of work to be done for my online business), my fear for the technical stuff to be used to develop my online business (I don’t know how to design a website, driving traffic in to my website & I don’t know how to host a website, etc).

Gosh, there are so many things to be put into consideration.

That is why, until now, I am still not having a single website of my own !!

I am going to prepare myself to overcome this huge stumbling block.

Wish me good luck !
